Classes 2024
All participants must wear clean indoor sports footwear and provide their own water bottle.
Youth Beginner:
Learn to fence class intended for youth who have never fenced before. Students will learn the basics of fencing and receive a introduction to epee foil and saber.
Ages 8-11, $115 per semester
Limited to 14 participants.

Registration for Youth Beginner, opens online only, Dec 1, 2023 at 8:00 am. First come first served.
Class begins: Saturday, January 6, 2024 to February 17, 2024 - 9:00am to 10:00am.
Saturday mornings from 9am to 10am at St Mary's Parish Hall.
Second Class
Registration for Youth Beginner Second Class, opens online only, Feb 1, 2024 at 8:00 am. First come first served.
Class begins: Saturday, March 2, 2024 to April 20, 2024 - 9:00am to 10:00am.
No Classes on March 30, 2024.
Saturday mornings from 9am to 10am at St Mary's Parish Hall.
Adult Beginners:
Learn to fence class intended for adults who have never fenced before. Students will learn the basics of fencing and receive a introduction to epee, foil and saber.
Ages 18+, $175 per semester
Limited to 14 participants

Semester 2 starts:
Thursday, January 4, 2024 to April 11, 2024 - 7:00pm to 8:00pm
Classes run Thursday’s 7:00pm to 8:00pm at St Mary's Parish Hall
Intermediate:
Intermediate fencing class intended for youth who have fencing experience. Students will learn intermediate skills of fencing and receive instruction.
Ages 12+, $175 per semester
Limited to 14 participants
Registration for Intermediate fencing, opens online only, Dec 1, 2023 at 8:00 am. First come first served.
Semester 2 starts:
Tuesday, January 2, 2024 to April 9, 2024 - 7:00pm to 8:00pm
Classes run Tuesday’s 7:00pm to 8:00pm at St Mary's Parish Hall
Advanced:
Advanced fencing class intended for students who have fencing experience. Students will learn advanced skills of fencing and receive instruction in preparation for competitions. This class is not intended as a beginner class.
Ages 12+, $225 per semester
Registration for Advanced fencing, opens online only, Dec 1, 2023 at 8:00 am.
Semester 2 starts:
Tuesday, January 2, 2024 to April 9, 2024 - 7:00pm to 8:00pm
Thursday, January 4, 2024 to April 11, 2024 - 7:00pm to 8:00pm
Saturday, January 6, 2024 to April 13, 2024 - 10:00am to 12:00pm
Classes run Tuesday and Thursday 7:00pm to 9:00pm and Saturday 10:00am to 12:00pm at St Mary's Parish Hall
Formal classes end as of April 13, 2024.
The building is open at 6:30pm to allow for setup and warmup, formal training will start ~7:00pm
After formal instruction students may participate in fencing bouts until 8:45pm
Students are encouraged to assist with setup and tear down of the equipment. Anything you can do to lend a hand is appreciated.
Registration for each class will also be on the above September/January dates indicated
April 13 to June 1, 2024 - all Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday classes will be group, competition centric, for our competitive athletes in preparation for Provincials and Nationals. Although, all members are welcome to participate.
Refund Policy
Regina fencing members that choose to cancel their membership will be subject to the following conditions:
Minimum %10 administration fee on any refund.
Memberships canceled in the first 3 weeks will be subject to a %10 reduction per week.
No refunds after the 4th week.
